First, you’ll need to set up your Webcam
Follow the manufacturer’s installation instructions for software and camera
and ensure it’s functioning correctly on your computer
There are many high quality Webcams available today for under $100.
I use the Logitech 9000, which is an excellent
camera for the price

With your Webcam installed and operating correctly, we need to capture images, upload them to your website
and display them to site visitors, refreshed at timed intervals.
We use the application ‘CamUp’ from this site to control the timed capture and upload of images.
Using IE or Firefox with Clickonce Add-On, Click to launch the application and proceed as follows
|
Step 1:

|
Webcam Settings
Set image size, optimization, timestamp etc and test image capture and settings.
|
Step 2:

FTP Settings
Enter FTP settings to upload images at timed intervals to your website server.
You’ll need to know your FTP address, username and password for this. If you do not know this, ask your web host
|
Step 3:
 |

Auto Run
Set image capture and upload timer interval and run the application
|
